Lancashire financial adviser joins growing national group
Chorley’s True Bearing Chartered Financial Planners have joined the UK-wide Amber River Group, made up of a number of independent regional financial advisers across the UK who will now be known as Amber River.
True Bearing will become the group’s North West hub and will continue to provide exceptional financial advice to its clients in this region.
At True Bearing they have always been committed to providing the best independent financial advice to each of their clients and know that all members of the Amber River Group share this same goal.
Welcoming the move, True Bearing President George Critchley said, “Our profession is changing rapidly. We intend to stay at the forefront.
“A parent company like Amber River that has the same culture and values is vital. It’s on and on for True Bearing.
Amber River is led by Mary Anne McIntyre, former CEO of Openwork, and a team of experienced finance professionals.
Overall, Amber River aims to grow the group to 15-20 regional hubs by 2025 and become a major force within the independent financial advisory industry.
Amber River said it was founded on the principle of Life Landscaping; thinking about financial planning in a way that goes beyond financial advice – client-focused, holistic and looking at the big picture to help people achieve their life goals.
Bosses said the focus was on providing excellent customer service through bespoke financial plans.
True Bearing was launched in 2003. In 2016 it was named one of the UK’s Top 100 Advisors. It has won two BIBA awards and the Red Rose award for best financial company. It is expected to change its name later this year.
