Penrith-based financial advisers appoint independent financial adviser
A Penrith-based financial advisory firm has appointed a new independent financial adviser.
Sarah Jackson was appointed to this position after completing her Level 4 Regulated Financial Planning Diploma.
Sarah joined Dodd Wealthcare in 2017, after a short experience living in Australia. She returned home and wanted to advance her career to the next level and with the ambition of becoming IFA.
Early in her career at Dodd Wealthcare as a Wealthcare Planning Assistant, Sarah engaged in her self-learning review papers, while receiving mentorship support from the Director of Dodd Wealthcare and partner of Dodd & Co, Nathan Glaister.
With 20 years of experience himself, Nathan was able to support Sarah throughout her studies. Sarah then passed her final exam in 2020.

Miss Jackson said: “‘I first started at another company and hadn’t considered any qualifications offered in my role.
“It wasn’t until I went on a trip, after meeting a variety of people who had already challenged themselves tremendously, spoken multiple languages and achieved other career milestones, that I realized that I wanted to push myself and challenge myself more and get out of my comfort zone.
“I decided I wanted to move from a paraplanning role to a more client-facing role. I started qualifying soon after with Dodd Wealthcare.
“My advice to anyone looking to start a qualification in their profession would be to never stop challenging yourself. If you think about it, do it, you won’t regret it.”
Previously, Sarah spent time working in banking, providing her with a base from which to advance her career in the financial services industry.
